Description
This garden textile artwork is a festival of colour and texture. When you create your artwork you will be capturing the dance of the garden with layers of hand dyed fabrics and fibre and stitch.
In this workshop I will share with you techniques to build up layers of beautiful hand dyed fabrics and fibres to make your artwork appear to be hand painted. The colours will be vibrant and jewel like and how you interpret this workshop will enable you to put your own signature on the finished piece.
This purchase is for the instructions only. You will be provided with a full list of materials which you can source locally. These materials will consist of hand dyed silks and fibres, fusible web velvets and more. The finished artwork measures approx. 86 cm x 62 cm (34” x 24”)
You will need to provide a sense of adventure, a sewing machine, a closed toe free motion embroidery foot and machine embroidery threads. I am really looking forward to sharing this experience with you and through the Facebook supported group you will meet new people and interact about the artwork, resolving problems and sharing ideas.
